The name Ananya Das is a sensation in the literary words of the children and the teenagers. Brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan, this eminent writer currently resides in Pennsylvania State of the United States. A degree in chemistry has never stopped her to pen down fantastic Bengali and English stories. She started her career as a writer in 2007. However, her first story was published in Anandamela in 2009. Currently, she is working in the PEN University of the state. Ananya loves to write moral stories for small children and detective stories for the teenagers. Till date, she has more than thirty published books and has written for major Bengali periodicals. Some of her well known works are Markin Muluke Niruddesh, Roosvelter Pandulipi, Hirer cheye dami, Motsyo konyar obhishap, etc. Uttoradhikar ebong is her only bengali book for the adult readers.
