Zahirul Hasan (1946) is a Lexicographer, biographer, essayist, historian, Critic and editor. In the last 30 years, he has penned more than thirty books. He has written more than 400 essays in various magazines. Among all his works, he feels that his last published work, named ‘Itihaser Khalnayak’, is the best of the lot. Even though the book has a thrilling name, but it is an indepth and emotional study conducted on the Notorious historical characters. The way he explores, analyzes and presents the information to the readers has helped him to become popular among the readers. His grasp over language and exceptional method of presentation has made him one of the most eminent personalities in the world of Bengali Literature.
