Nirbachito Galpo 1 (নির্বাচিত গল্প ১)

Born in 1940. Completed M.A from Calcutta University. Worked in Anandabazar Patrika, Hindusthan Standard, Business Standard, Anandamela, Prabasi. Worked as a member of the editorial group of Anadabazar Patrika. He has penned down a number of travelogues and books of essays. He has also completed a number of books on translated foreign literature. Has edited books like ‘ Strestho bIdeshi Golpo, Adhunik Rabindranathers 21 ti Golpo, Shastrobirodhi Songkolon. Ponchashti golpo, Rohosyo Uponyas, Sat Ghora Mohor etc. are some of his most acknowledged literary works. The stories that he has written have been translated into various other languages. He is also the writer of ‘ Netajir Sahadhormini’, the first autobiographical work of Emily Shenkle, wife of Subhas Chandra Bose. He has been honored with eight literary awards.
