We are a bilingual publishing company, publishes books and magazines in Bengali and English. We sell only our own products through our website. Our pricing policy in case of pre and post-publication of books are different and we regularly update the same on our website.

Term and Conditions

Book Selling Partner Programme

Book Selling Partner Program (BSPP) is a platform where booksellers can join us for selling our books at the maximum commission. Booksellers from all over India, offline and online, can avail this opportunity. You may contact our customer support or call directly to know the details after talking in the ‘live chatbox’ on our website.

Book Purchase by Retail Customers

There are various facilities for general readers in purchasing our books or magazines. Anyone who can take advantage of the Internet may collect books directly from our website. You can buy any book of our publication directly before it is published. Once published, you’ll find it online from the Amazon, Flipkart and other online bookselling platforms, and also from retail bookstores. However, if the book or magazine is free-booked you will get additional discount only if you pre-book it on our own website. This book will reach you at home within two to fifteen days from the date of publication.

Bookselling before Publications

Books are sold by us even before publication. You can avail the opportunity of freebooking/prebooking if you want to book your copy before its publication. In that case you will get extra discount. There are two ways to book your copy – Free-booking and Pre-booking.

Freebooking : Free-booking is a brand new concept. This booking window will open immediately after we start advertising a book or magazine on our website. At the time of free booking you will find a google form on our website where you have to write your name, address, phone number, email id and the name of the book or magazine you want to buy. The advantage of free-booking is to get an extra discount at the time of pre-booking just by expressing your willingness to buy. No payment has to be made, i.e the booking is absolutely free!

Pre-booking : When pre-booking starts a buyer will get extra discount than post-publication sales-discount. However, if one already express his willingness to buy through Free-booking window he will be entitled to get another extra discount. For example, if we offer 20 percent discount at pre-booking, free-bookers will get 30 percent discount. The Pre-booking window will be closed in a phased manner by reducing the amount of discount stage by stage. However, the window may be opened time and again until final publication all on a sudden for a very brief duration. You have to be alert and explore our website regularly to avail this all-on-a-sudden opportunity.

Bookselling after Publication

Once the book gets published, only booksellers registered under BSPP will be able to buy from our online store. Post publication of a book retail buyers have to buy our books only from e-platforms like Amazon, Flipkart or Swiftbooks.

Cash On Delivery

When our book sales are conducted directly through our website, in all cases of book purchase it will be sold through pre-booking system at all times. In case of published books, only BSPP customers can buy books from our website. Since it is sold before the book is published with additional discount, there is no cash on delivery system in any case. But BSPP customers can solve the problem by talking to customer support if they want for COD. Moreover this facility shall be availed of as per  advice of any of our sales executives, Or Cash on Delivery can only be obtained from any other sales platform for normal customer.

Shipping Policy for Books / Magazines

We strive to ensure smooth and timely delivery of your books and magazines. Below are the details regarding our shipping and charges:

Free Shipping is available for orders above Rs. 599/-. However, an additional service charge of Rs. 25/- per stage will be applicable for every shipment to Kolkata, West Bengal, and all over India.

For orders up to Rs. 299/-

Kolkata (Pincode 700001 – 700961): Rs. 30/-

Outside Kolkata (within West Bengal): Rs. 40/-

All over India: Rs. 55/-

For orders between Rs. 300/- and Rs. 599/-

An additional Rs. 10/- will be added at each stage for Kolkata, West Bengal, and all over India.

Additional Charges: Shipping charges may vary based on location, remoteness, or specific situations.

Refund and Cancellation or Replacement Product Policy

At Liber Fieri (LF Books India), we prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a flexible cancellation policy. Pre-booked orders can be canceled within 15 days by informing us via email, and our support team will confirm the cancellation. Refunds are processed within 4-14 days, or customers may opt for a due coupon valid for two years, after which a refund will be issued if unused. Pre-booking modifications follow the same rules. If a delivered book or magazine is found damaged, we will replace it within 15 days.

At LF Books India, we prioritize customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices. Please review our refund policy below.

1.A) Eligibility for Refunds

Customers may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

a) Damaged or Defective Books: If the book arrives with physical damage, missing pages, or printing defects.

b) Wrong Book Delivered: If the book received is different from what was ordered.

c) Lost Orders: If the package is lost in transit and not delivered within the estimated timeframe.

1.B) Refunds will not be provided for

a) Change of Mind: If the customer no longer wants the book after purchase.

b) Incorrect Shipping Details: If the order is undelivered due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.

c) Minor Print Variations: Slight differences in color, cover design, or font that do not affect content readability.

2. Order Cancellation & Refund by LF Books India

LF Books India reserves the right to cancel and refund orders immediately under the following circumstances:

a) Invalid Orders: If an order is placed with incomplete, fraudulent, or suspicious details.

b) Incorrect Discounts: If a pricing error or an unauthorized discount is applied due to system glitches or misuse of discount codes.

c )Technical Issues: If a system error causes incorrect billing, duplicate orders, or pricing discrepancies.

d) Unfaithful Conditions: If any unethical practices are detected, such as bulk ordering for resale without authorization, misuse of coupons, or fraudulent claims.

In such cases, the customer will be notified via email or phone, and the refund will be processed immediately.

3. Refund Request Timeline

Customers must request a refund within 7 days of receiving the book.

If the order is not received within 15 days of the estimated delivery date, a refund request can be made.

4. Refund Procedure

To request a refund, customers must follow these steps:
